Each hamper consists of one live chicken, rice, flour, chow mein, macaroni, milk, sardines, oil, sugar, salt, onions, garlic, peas, potatoes, and a soda. This year a total of 90 food hampers were distributed; 84 went to our recipients in Cane Grove and 6 were donated to a charity in Grove, Mahaicony. Thank you for joining us at the 6th Annual Cane Grove Reunion Dinner and Dance. We understand that you have many obligations, and we appreciate you taking time from your busy schedule to join us. It was an honor and pleasure to have you all in attendance, especially to those that traveled great distances such as all over the NY Tri-State Area, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Canada, Holland and Guyana.

We hope that you found the Dinner and Dance to be quite entertaining as we all spent time enjoying the pleasure of old neighbors, friends and family for a worthy cause. Special thanks to Guyana’s former World Champion Boxer, Gwendolyn O’Neil, for attending and to the former President of Guyana, Bharrat Jagdeo for gracing us with his presence.

Again, we sincerely thank you for choosing to be a part of the  Cane Grove Reunion Dinner and Dance,

-The Committee Members:

Mohamed Ally , Matthew Datterdeen , Kenrick Gopaul , Pt. Charran Prashad , Ivor Ramphal .
